# Sector Alpha

> Find your next server and the people you play with. Sector Alpha is a community with a public game-server directory.

Sector Alpha publishes a community site and a public game-server directory at https://sector-alpha.net/. Owners can list a server they host. [AlphaGSM](https://alphagsm.sector-alpha.net/) is the optional game-server manager. The website does not open a connection to a player's or a host's machine.

## Public JSON

These GET routes return JSON and do not require an account. Do not send credentials. Do not use them to start, stop, or configure a server.

## Stay off these paths

Account pages, sign-in, registration, and every /v1/ route other than the directory reads above are private. robots.txt disallows them. There is no public agent control endpoint.
